    Idleaire Wireless Internet Services

    Hey,
I found a brouchure for wireless internet across the USA thought you guys may be interested in it. The prices are quite fair and have alot of locations.

Check http://wireless.idleaire.net/wireless/ for more info, the prices were $70 for a whole year unlimited access and I think the speeds were T1 full duplex.

    Just an idea

Hmm interesting - most of their hotspots are in the south with some in California and one right on the Mexican border. So no good to most people in the U.S.- besides why pay for hotspot access if you can get access at most any Mcdonalds nowadays?

That is true. But they have plans to widen there area. alot of truck stops will be using this soon.
NC is quite rural, not alot of cities here, and there are quite a few planned spots for it in the state. Most of the wireless you have to pay for around here inless you happen to come across somebody elses unlimited account information :-P Im sure your account could be shared with other people too, so if you had a bunch of friends you could all just share the same account as long as you wern't using it at the same time.

They have finally set this up in my area and it works great!
its quite cheap too when I am next there I might purchase an hour and post the prices. I get a huge signal with hardly any noise whilst driving down the interstate to work. It holds the signal for a long time too, I got about 6 minutes of connection just while driving past.

Still curious as to how fast it is too, If I purchase an hour I will let you all know the test results.
