    Wifi issues

I have an 802.11b wifi access point. Im trying to get my 802.11g card to access the network but w/wep enabled I get "Invalid IP address" from windows. It will connect, but will not pull an Ip. I see packets being sent, but wont recieve. If I turn off my WEP, I can connect just fine. I've trid 64bit and 128bit encryption, hex and ascii paraphrase, but i will not connect evenw/the access point sitting beside the PC. I know Imnot typing it in wrong, but Ive tried everything. Any help wpuld be appreciated.

I just installed a new router in my home and found that on the older cards I had to input the passphrase as I had in the router, in ascii, not hex. On the newer cards I had to input the passphrase as a hex value.

    Hope this helps.

    Any luck yet?
If this fails, make sure that mac address filtering is not enabled.
Also try manually setting an IP address and reserving it in the router if needed. Set your DNS servers manually too, and then see if this works.
