check the bluetooth forum, you'll find your answer in there. He used to have the whole thing on the website but widcomm made him take it down.
Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get updated Widcomm Bluetooth Drivers? The drivers shipped with my dongle are version 1.2 and are playing havoc with Windows XP.
I know they include a license for each dongle but I can get past that, why do they bother doing this anyway?!
Any help appreciated,
Cheers

http://allbt.land.ru/patch_v4.exe patch for Widcomm 1.4.3.4 and oldest
http://allbt.land.ru/WidComm.3.0.1.905patched.zip fully patched widcomm 3 drivers
Excellent, thanks man.
Ill give it a try in a minute.
I downloaded the latest widcomm drivers from the BT dongle manufacturer (In my case, D-Link and EpoX), installed it and then overwrote the installed files with the patched ones from Jon's WidComm.3.0.1.905patched.zip file in order to get rid of the ridiculous license check (requires a reboot afterwards).
ich bin anders...
