Question External WiFi Receiver w/ Ethernet Port?

I'm having trouble finding something and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction (or even tell me if it exists)...

I'm looking for a WiFi receiver that is A) external and B) uses an Ethernet port. I'd like to add WiFi to the van, but I would also like to be able to jack in my laptop to it if possible. Something external, with an Ethernet jack into which I could connect a hub or switch, and from there go to the Vanputer and laptop. All I'm finding are PCI cards, PCMCIA cards, USB dongles, and the Linksys wired USB adapters. Does what I'm looking for exist?

On a related note... I have a WiFi card in my tower at home, is it possible to connect my laptop via hub and use the wireless connection from the tower? If so, I could also do a variation of what I mentioned above, namely using a WiFi PCMCIA card in the laptop, and share the connection with the Vanputer.

P.S. Are there PCI card access points? Like if I jacked my tower into the company LAN, it would create an access point?

Having that plug into your van computers will make all your computers hot to wireless.

With that hub and external antenna I mentioned. You should be able to pick up your computer inside your house. Transfer files/internet etc.

When using wireless you become a access point. Be careful people can easy hack into you. I would unplug it when your not transfering files, etc.

Uhh... what I had in my car for a bit was an access point from D-Link set up as a wireless client. I believe most D-Link AP's can do this. That way you can plug it right into your NIC.
