Okay, so I've spent many days researching this topic and I'm still unsure of how to access the internet from my laptop via my t-mobile phone (sony ericsson t610). I have a standard service plan without any t-zones add-ons. I know for sure that I have WAP enabled because I called customer service and asked them if I did. I can also access the T-zones page but am unable to get to any other wap page (e.g. wap.yahoo.com).
I'm okay with paying $4.99 a month for unlimited T-zones if this will enable me to use the phone as a modem for the laptop or car computer. Can anyone confirm that subscribing to the $4.99 unlimited t-zones service will in fact let me do this? Thanks.

Yes - you will only have access to a few ports though. You will need to setup an SSH server to really use all the ports. Refer to old posts in this forum for instructions on how to do it.
You basically connect to the internet on your computer via your phone (i.e. t-zones) and run an SSH client in the background to redirect all traffic to your box at home. This effectively enables access to all ports and its very simple to setup.
mines like 2.99 and I think thats 300 messages, but I really don't send messages, just use it as a modem.
