    Best USB 802.11 Setup?

Ok I have searched for a long time and no real results.

The problem: I need a USB 802.11b or 802.11g adaptor WITH THE HIGHEST POWER. By power I mean 200mW or more. I do not have an available PCI slot for a PCI>PCMCIA controller. The PCMCIA Senao card is nice and puts out 200mW with support for 2 external antennas. I have also not found any USB>PCMCIA controllers. I have seen a Proxim "USB Wireless" which is just a plastic box with a PCMCIA card in it. I was thinking maybe I could tear it open and stick the 200mW Senao card in it.

So what are my options? I am planning to have a 14dBi directional antenna also, so it has to have pigtail support.

What is the most powerful USB 802.11 setup available (with pigtail)?

i hear the buffalo technologies cards are great but i don't know if they have a USB version of the pcmcia cards and most of the retail cars I've seen don't have antenna connectors but people have modded the linksys cards to use external antennas

I am considering getting a Lucent Orinoco USB one since they have a PCMCIA card inside them. I will try swapping out the PCMCIA for the Senao one.

If that doesnt work, I might buy a 500mW wireless AMP and run a cable to the PCMCIA card inside.

    Anyone else have any ideas?

Senao, got it for the redneck look of dual antennas.
I have also ordered a orinoco classic gold, I have read it is better to listen than to shout so I am gonna findout. I sure you need to do both unless you are only wardiving.

As long as your antennas are less than 12 feet tall you will be ok. Now if you are like one of these people that have antennas 4 times the size of their vehicle and look completely ridiculous, that I just love laughing at, well then... you are a freak.
