can someone explain to me in full detail how to get on the web with an e815 a moto data cable and vzaccess...id like to get on the internet for FREE q2n and national access if possible for free please...thanks

what is it that your having trouble with? This whole thread is about what youre trying to do. You plug ur phone into the cable, plug the cable into your computer.. install the drivers. Then setup a new dial up connection with **********@vzw3g.com (your phone number) and password vzw. Doing it this way is FREE... only uses minutes.

ok...what drivers do i install i dont have futuredial cable...i have a moto cable and have used it before to transfer things to the phone but theres no drivers

When you plug your phone in it allready installed the drivers. With you phone pluged into the computer go to the modems in control pannel. Find the usb modem and do the afopre mentioned numbers. you should be good to go.

I just signed up for Verizon recently & got the Nokia 2128i ( no camera, not a flip ) and bought a cable off of ebay. It connects, and I can transfer files between my computer & my phone. However, I can't seem to get my computer to recognize it as a modem. Nokia blames my connectivity issues on the fact that I don't have a *genuine* nokia cable. Also I have found conflicitng reports about if it will work or not (even if I did pony up the cash for the cable). Has anyone heard anything? If push comes to shove, I will trade in my phone for the next model up...

you know you not having the nokia cable is more then likely bs. so wait a week and tell them you tried at home with a nokia cable you bought and it still dont work. lol make them GIVE you a better phone. or make it work. if not bring your phone to them and let THEM make it work. i went back to verizon with my 3g card cause it had some issues when i first got it, and i made them upgrade me and make sure everything worked.

they crippled it on 1.1E.00 which is apparently what i'm running, even though under my battery says 1.17.03

....another reason to hate my e815.....i guess i could flex/flash it.....but.....**** that

1st post! I was wondering what cord did you purchase to connect your a670 to your comp? I have the same phone (nationwide coverage too) and i'm at the radio shack website. I don't see one for that phone model, all of the ones they offer are phone specific.
