Anyone ever got their service cut off from this?

    http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,1918150,00.asp

I would be using it for finding points of interest that are not in my nav, checking movie times(and maybe trying to watch a trailer), email, settle factual disputes, etc.. no major data usage

I have a Audiovox CDM 9900.. anyone know if it works with this phone?

I will be upgrading to the Treo 700W or the XV6700 very soon... but the above article says specifically these phones wont work.

I read somewhere that Verizon doesn't let you use express network on an EVDO capable phone and if they catch you doing it, they will charge you an arm and a leg. Can anyone confirm/deny this? Does anyone do this? Paying $60 a month for a data plan is downright lunacy, especially when I only want it to get traffic/weather updates on my car pc and in internet is out emergencies!

Well bought my cable today. And now they offer broadband internet for 30 bucks a month through your phone! Unlimited and it does not affect your minutes. And its montly! Only set back is you can't use your phone while your online.

    damn, almost sounds reasonable...

let us know how the performance and coverage is!

what would be neat is to have an extra phone/card that's just for internet that you can leave plugged into you carPC... without having to pay extra monthly fees ontop of the $30...
