Still works for me, just used it today on my VX8300
I am a newbe have tried the numbers + @vzw3g.com/vzw and qnc/qnc for user & pass+at$qmdr=2 and s=2 for the string and #777 by it self and it does't work. I have a lgvx8700 + the cable down loaded the zip files my computer connected twice and was connected because my phone was counting min. so i tried to open a internet page and got a message from verizon saying i had to buy their internet plan and gave me a menu of all their prices and that was as far as it would let me get. so whats going on maybe verizon got smart to the whole deal!!!!!!:violin:
Did you unblock the Dial up networking in your phone using QPST? You have to remove the DUN under M.I.P. Settings from the ##########@DUN.vzw3g.com in your user profile. Thats the short version, for the how to check out this site which is mentioned over and over again in this post
I got the same screen until I unblocked the Dial Up Networking. It still works, I just used it yesterday.
I have tested this and have it working but have some basic questions... I see others have asked but dont see any clear answers...
1. Is it smart to lower the speed setting on the phone or does it really not matter?
2. Is using it on the wknds at the lake for an hr or two abusing it?
it stopped working for me a couple weeks ago. If i try to get to my homepage i get a Verizon Page telling me I need to subscribe, if i try navigate elsewhere i just brings me back to that page...
I think they caught on
Don't know what you guys are doing wrong. I'm posting this on my laptop connected through my K1M. Clearly, it still works.
What settings are you using for you k1m, i have the same phone. I was using XXXXXXXXXX@vzw3g.com with vzw as the password and #777 for the phone number. It use to work all the time a couple weeks ago and all of a sudden it (after i stopped using it for awhile) it gave me that verizon page.
I'm using the same login settings.
Try running the QPST configuration again. I've heard about phones automatically changing the login back to xxxxxxxxxx@vzw3g.dun.com, which would give you what the screen you're getting. I have heard it will do this if you do the #228 thing.
it works... although it's really flaky on me
anywho, thanks blackcobra!
