Since most data plans using GPRS/GSM or 1X are charged by how much data you use (by KB or by MB blocks) I was wondering if anyone knew how much the Copilot LIVE feature would use in terms of bandwidth? Lets say text messages are not used and the position update feature is the only thing that the LIVE feature is using to update it's position for tracking on the Live website, how much bandwidth would that take each time to update? I figure it would only send probably the coordinate of the location of the car LAT/LON which wouldnt be more then a few bytes + some overhead.
Anyone know? I'm going to be travelling to the U.S and with my Data Plan, i'm going to have to pay some dumb roaming charges so the least amount of data transfered, the better.
