having a plugin or standalone app then sends your coords anywhere you want it, is easy. But needs your PC running.

In fact my iDrive skins for RideRunner have the ability to send your current GPS coords to GPSGate if you activate it and put your account username and password into the ini file.

the computer is always on when the car is. i think another idea i want to implement soon is a pc-turn on by cellular device. ill tap into the cellphones vibrate, and call the phone anytime i want to turn the pc on. i could put it on a timer relay too, set it for 45min or so, that way it wont kill my battery in case of accidental power on.

not sure why i would need to use my computer when im not even in wifi range of it though... ill have to think of reasons to justify the project i guess

OK, well when it's released RRAccessControl will have the same ability.
