There's no way that a bill like that would pass.

They might be able to push it as a line-item on a bigger tax bill, but I still doubt it would go through.

Of course, who knows what GW Bush and his Republican [buddies in] Congress might do.

Keep in mind that the committee that made the proposal is made up of three Republicans AND three Democrats (and between Hatch and Rockefeller, that's a lot of influence on each side).

Or six Republicrats. I guess it depends who's counting.
