I bought the card at maplins for £95. It works fine except one little problem. When i start Mobile Connect software up it shows hardware cannot be initialized. So I close the program re insert the pcmcia card then start program everything works fine. It included a £20 credit as well.
You can also send and recieve sms and use msn messenger.

Download the latest software/drivers from the vodafone website. Try to get the one for the 3G card, it'll still work with yours.
