Might as well take video, too.
If there was a camera in his car, BTW, he has to provide the tape in court, and it should have audio.

Back to the issue. There are also wav editors that record whatever comes thru line in or out and makes a wav file. I cant think of any off the top of my head, but I know I have one, and will look when I get home if youd like.(though im sure there are several that are easy to find, try CNET)

    Im thinking laptop...

    JK Audio CellTap ($79)

Connect CellTap between the 2.5 mm earpiece jack of your cell phone and your earpiece or headset. Connect the 3.5 mm mini jack to your line in/mic jack on your computer and use whatever audio recording software you wish. The audio output of the CellTap contains a mix of both sides of the conversation.

It has to start somewhere... It has to start sometime.
What better place than here? What better time than now?

If you're using bluetooth-enabled cellphone, you could get the PC to record the audio fairly easily by setting it to record from the Bluetooth Audio mixer I believe.. As for software you'd probably want something simple that encodes directly to MP3, but not sure of a recommendatin.

Perfect! Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. Now we'll see if I ever get around to the crux of the idea.
