    Cellular alarm pager system

Anyone ever found any of those systems for North America, where it could incorporate with your alarm to send you text messages when certain inputs are triggered. I know various systems excist in europe using GSM, but they are like 300 or so british pounds.

Anyone have any ideas on how one could incoporate something really simple and fast using a computer in the car, even allowing GPS location if a GPS is available that would be neat. Any thoughts on self fabricating something like this?
