    Doesn't this mean it works??

Does this mean you've used phoncontrol.net with a v710? I'm just confirming because if it does, I'll probably go ahead and get a v710. I have a different phone at the moment but would switch if I knew someone had actually done it before.

you need the firmware update, i hear verizon will do it for you, i did it myself. yes i've gotten it to work. it's not an ideal setup with phonecontrol, the quality isn't that good. there's an echo that won't go away, i don't know if it's phoco or the bluetooth connection. i haven't used phoco with it that much, i have the hs850 earpiece, and that works beautifully, i just pick up the phone to see who's calling. phoco is good in theory, and i'm sure many users here have had good results, but the v710 and phoco isn't a quality solution. i haven't tried the treo 650 from verizon, or the new e815, but the v710 isn't up to par with my anal perfectionist ways.

Anyway sonicxtacy02 is right, i found people on howardforums who claim to have gotten everything working. There is a seem update on http://www.inetron.com/index.php?opt...electcat&cat=1
and a bunch of files that i plan on using later. First i need my damn datacable, and escalade182 has it right now and hes 150 miles away.
I just made the seem edits on my 815, but havent got to try out phonecontrol yet. Maybe i will find some time this weeend

Let us know if yo get the e815 working
It has full OBEX capability unlike the v710 so I have a feeling it will work

I'm not sure what you guys mean. Everything that I have read from PhoCo is CDMA is NOT supported at all.

Even with SuperDave's seem edits on HoFo I was under the impression it won't work at all regardless. Please let me know if someone can get this working. I don't wanna get the E815. I get the 710 for free from work so I'd like to keep this phone working and get it working in the carputer setup!
