depends on the antenna. it beats drilling holes in your body and if you place them smart, they look slick. not like those ugly cb ones.

On a related matter. Which speeds can you drive while the antenna still stays there. Anyone tried them at around 200km/h (125 miles/hr)??

Well, I tried removing WebDog's magnet mounted wifi antenna and at first I thought it was glued on. I guess a tree will take our your antenna at that speed. Or a bird.

Hehe, since I odn't plan on hitting any trees or birds I guess I'll be fine. Thanks for the info. Would suck to get sued by the driver behind me on the Autobahn just because my WLAN antenna was ripped off by the wind :P

I don't think it's an issue with a short skinny antenna like that. now the 5' K40 CB whip would be a different story lol

No problem. Plus, if it gets ripped off, it'll be flying right beside your car because it still has its cord.

Now, who really would be driving at such speeds ? But no, my mag-mount CB antenna did look like it was going to, but never came off. Since then, I've switched cars, and went to glass mount.
