Cingular Family Plan

Hey guys. My contract with Sprint is overy finally... so I want to swtich to Cingular. Before I had my phone under my grandma's name (on sprint), and my mom and grandma had phones (on sprint) under my mom's name. So yeh... now we want to merge the two accounts.

The phones on the cingular website (and store) cost too much. The prices on amazon are good

Here's the problem

I need a family plan with 3 phones and 500 minutes. The amazon website does not provide ANY family plans, and if I choose their normal plan then I won't qualify for rebates for the other phones. What should I do?

Phones I want: v551 for mom, v551 for grandma, s710a for myself

suggestion i bought 2 of my my phones via ebay and 1 from cingular store we have the family talk 850 plan so not sure about any rebates so basicly what i am saying what about buying the phones elsewhere and just getting the plan you want

I bought my SE T610 off ebay, slipped my card in it and never have had a problem since. I was going to buy it from Cingular but those weasles insisted that I change plans since mine is not longer offered, plus soak me for the phone. I'm much happier with the phone from ebay.

What really hacked me off was the reason i was getting a new phone was because my old one didn't work any more. So instead of treating me like the long time customer that I am, they basicly said "Tough ****". I actually could get a better deal as a new customer then one thats been around for years.

Since my contact is up I can go anywhere I want now and have been thinking of doing just that.

That rebate check will take over 6 months to get back to you at least. Walmart has the Razer for $148 with no rebate, you can get the v551 for around $43. Dunno about the s710, we don't carry it.
