Except that they're in the UK. I've been looking for someone to do my 6600 here locally because the fw upgrade fixes a bt problem that would make hands free in car with sw work but I really don't want to send it away right now...
I did hear good things about iunlock.com though.

I sent mine to Nokia, they did it for free. All I had to do was pay for shipping.

What kind of problems are you having?

    Peace,

Nokia will do it for free if it is under warranty. If not, you hafta pay for it. So what firmware is on there now? I have 5.34, and mine freezes up about once a week, but hasnt for over a week now. (knock on wood)

shizzle: i have/had the 4.43 It's notorious for having problems/bugs. BT wasn't keeping connection and all. I just sent it out ti iUnlock.com, and it will be back by friday. I'm hoping that it's going to be better. I think the newest firmware is 5.45 so i'll see.

    Rafster:

Various. mainly Bluetooth related. It lost connection to the BT headset i have, and the pc. I just bought a BT dongle., and it lost connection a lot. Than. It has the stupid cingular firmware on there, and it's limited in settings, and features. I'll get the regular nokia opne, so i can tether with it. Mobile net here i come. Also, i'll have my mother langueage Hungarian on it. Whitch is nice. And all-in-all i'll have it done for $45. It could have been $40, but b/c i need it for the weekend, i'll need to 2nd day it back from them. So I'll see, and maybe i'll recommend it depending of service...

I gave up on my 6620 for all the same reasones, it's sitting here as a paperweight. I switched to a RAZR, very pleased so far.

Check out Howard Forums for good resources on firmware updates.

You want to get rid of it? I just sent it to Iunlock.com. It's supposed to come back today. I'll let you guys know how it went. Cheers...
