    Wireless video feed

I work for a multinational industrial construction company. I have recently been asked to find a way to allow the home office (michigan) to review/monitor progress on remote sites. This could be anywhere from Arkansas to Russia.

Are there any good options for streaming live video from a remote location? Clearwire has the upload speed but is not present in enough locations... Verizon only offers up to 60 kpbs upstream and that is a best case scenario (bidirectional amplifier?) .

Money isn't a big issue as the company will cover expenses. I would be content if a solution covered most of the US... but the wider the coverage, the better.

    Anyone have any ideas?

do these sites have internet/intranet access? You could get some IP cameras if that were the case.

Wireless video is not going to go from Arkansas to Michigan under ANY circumstances. Using GPRS or other Cellular Internet could be done, but you are not going to get any speed increases with an amplifier--it's just not how those things work

Some do have internet but some dont. of coarse I would take the easy way out and leach... my concern is the sites that dont have access available already. My intention is to use ip cams/available internet but also be able to setup basic connectivity no matter where I am.

And in a remote site a cellular amplifier would increase speed by providing a better link to the tower... although the max of 60 kbps could not be exceeded. what about satellite? any benefits there?

Well if $ is not a problem MRSAT can give you 128kbs from almost any place but it is not cheap.
