What are you doing with your WiFi?

I looked in the Wireless Communication group, about 2 months in the past, and i only see information on getting your interface device or drivers working. For those of you that have WiFi, what are you using it for? I see possibilities in Wardriving, updating your music files, but that's about it. Anything else good?

    Thanks for any discussion!

Nothing at the moment...hope to wire up my detached garage with wi-fi soon...then I could use it more.

Enforcer, could you describe RR's weather app? I have not updated RR in a while. Is there a module that pulls weather info into the interface?

    Thanks,
    Alan

Very interesting. I wouldn't mind writing a program to post my GPS coordinates to a website. Then everyone can know exactly where i am at all times.

I use xBrady's GPSecure and it connects to the house and uploads the coordinates to the server when I arrive home.

Otherwise I use it for updating my files and occasional wardriving.

I mostly use it for updating Softrware and music in the car via EzSync. Plus a backup of modified GPS Favorites and other misc things. Course, Weather/Traffic updates are nice as well.
