Please don't noob me as I know next to naff all about wireless comms.

Here's my setup.

BMW factory fitted GSM car phone, M10000 ITX based system, running on stock screen with additional Xenarc for rear passengers all fitted into a 740i

The one thing I have missing is an internet connection. I know I can get internet on my mobile Treo 600 but is there anyway I can get the internet by hacking into the BMW carphone or do I need to be looking at replacing the phone in the car?.

you could prolly get a pcmcia modem card and use that just for internet.... or I think you cqan use that as a handsfree phone through the carpc audio system instead of the bmw phone... check your provider for PCMCIA modems

I'm on vodaphone. How would I connect a pmcia card to my box - I'm not using a laptop so don't have pmcia slots.

doesnt the m10000 have a pcmcia slot? I thought it did but maybe I'm confusing it with the MII12000... either onboard pcmcia slot, or PCI card with riser....(or without if your case permits it)
