    Merlin Wireless IP Modem

    I found a Merlin wireless IP Modem laying around and have a pcmsic slot available in my carpc. Is is worth bothing to hhok up this think since its only 19.2K. Best thing I can use this for is IM with my house. But I could just use my Blackberry for that.

    I wish I could justify the $79.99 for EVDO

    You can get NationalAccess (1xRTT) for $20 less than BroadbandAccess (EVDO). NationalAccess gets you 50K - 100K download, BroadbandAccess gets your 400K - 700K download.

    Depends on what you want to use it for.
