    02 GPRS PAYG still free?? (UK)

    hi,

    recently got hold of an O2 PAYG Sim - not credited it yet but just the other day got a text on my contract sim saying GPRSAccess will be charged at £1 a MB!!

    Anyone still using o2 PAYG for GPRS and is it still free??

    £1 a mb is cheap in the UK.

    I have heard that Stevigs bro had his locked out ... and from what I understand they have started charging now.

    But - I do have to say the current deals they has is not bad - you even get 1mb Free... and rember this is pay as you go.

    I expect with Tmobile about to turn the market on it head with its 'netanytime' or what ever its called prices over the next 12 months are going to rapidly drop... to the extent I hope I can still pay say £25 a month but get more data and less voice.
