Sharing net connection...

Hi,

My Ethernet modem went tits-up after an electrical storm, and now I have a new USB one. I used to plug that modem into my WiFi router (Sitecom W143) and share it that way. Surely now that it's plugged into USB, I can still share it over the network somehow?

are you using windows XP? if you are then just use the built-in connection sharing. Go to the properties of the dialup connection and click on the advanced tab.

So you don't mind having that computer on all the time? If you turn off that computer, your other computers can't access the net.

Get an ethernet based modem. It will work better in the long run and be faster - especially for games on other PCs.
