    Complex Bluetooth Issue

Ok so heres my situation, I have a Dell Inspiron 700m with a bluetooth dongle, and i'm running widcomm btw 4. I also have a Sony Ericsson T637 and a Motorola Bluetooth Headset Model HS820.

I use a gps unit in my car, which uses my bluetooth headset for voice commands. I would like to also use phoco to operate my phone at the same time, for example if a call comes in, I mute my navigation software, and answer the call, no fuss no muss. Is this even possible? WHILE using the headset for both? Please email responses to matt@mdfsupport.com as I dont get to check this often.

    Translation:

I work at a consulting company and someone will pay me a lot of money for the answer to this question but I'm not smart enough to figure it out on my own. Can you please tell me the answer so I can eat this week.

    ;-)

Forget I posted the question if this board is frequented by people like gnomad, in fact, if an admin reads this, delete it, I dont particularly want help from rude people.

Look, this is a place for people to *share* information. It works because *collectively* we're much smarter than as individuals. If everyone just came in and asked questions, there wouldn't be anyone to answer them! Now don't get me wrong, I don't have any problems with your post. In fact, if I did, I could easily have deleted it.

But really... Think about what you are telling people when you say, "email responses to blah as I dont get to check this often." Not only are you not participating in the forums, but you cannot even be bothered to check back to look for answers to your own post. Now, as if that weren't bad enough, you leave an address at a company that *sells* tech support services. Now, it is quite possible that this is a coincidence, but personally, I have my doubts. And I'm quite sure I'm not alone. My appologies if I came off as rude to you (as that was not my intention) I merely wished to indicate that your post is essentially rude to the entire forum.

If you still think I'm being rude, then I'm sure you're not going to take this offer of help, but I'll offer it anyway....

If you are a carpc geek, stick arround. I'm sure you can help a bunch of people here. It takes a lot of time to answer questions, and the people who know the answers typically have a limited amount of time to respond, and are going to be more likely to answer the questions of other people who are *participating* in the forums.

If not, well, you might do well to learn to be a little less obvious, ok?

    -p.

    You misread my initial question.

If you would have paid close enough attention, you wouldnt have seen an URGENT or ASAP, because this is a personal project, I wasn't even sure if it was possible with current bt stacks, but whatever, I plan on sticking around, I dont mind childish attitude, but if you're gonna get paranoid that i'm stealing your "ideas" why not ask me more about the project to determine what exactly i'm here for, as this IS a message board. Communicate rather than assume.

It is referencing a program known as Phone Control. The program allows you to dial and control your phone from your pc.

Does belmatt00 and Afzaal have the same IP adress

I don't like gnomad (since he gave me some crap about the site slowness ) but I'm with him on this one, if a guy comes in here and it tell us that he doesn't check this forum so often plus his e-mail server refers to a IT support company it looks suspecius.

    BTW I was kidding Gnomad

    Thanatos.
