1. can i just buy up a antenna with the right connector and plug it into the card or does it have to be a specific one?
2. what kind of connector does this belkins card have?
3. can i mount an indoor antenna on my roof if i waterproof it? and would it make an impovement?
4. can i buy the wire with the right connector extend it from the pci card to my roof drill a hole bring it out and connect it to the original antenna?
thanks :-)
I have a belkin PCI card. It worked fine in the boot(trunk), but I have made up an extension cable and the aeriel not sits on the rear deck.

so basicly if i got that connector and ran a wire in between it pluged the male end into the comp and the female end would run to the roof and connect to the stock antenna from the wifi card it would work??
but which wire would i need?
and can i use my stock antenna to get better range or no?
RG58 cable, make sure the plugs you get are for that cable as well.
The first plugs I got were for a thinner cable and I had touble getting the plugs to stay on.
You should be able to get a made up cable, check ebay
in fact, I've done the legwork for you.
