Cant upload to homepage

Hi, just tried to upload a zip to my homepage but it fails everytime.

STATUS:> Sending startkeys.zip
COMMAND:> PASV

STATUS:> Connecting data socket...
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for startkeys.zip

using cuteftp
tried others same result.

I thought it was a wifi issue so went wired, still same (so sorry for posting in here!)

Wanted to get this up as its a carpc app I have worked on but it wont go!

I have often in past had problems with large files, but this is only 4mb.

can any software give me a better reason for the failure or a better explanation of the failure so I know where to start to try to fix this issue.

I blame my ISP but without any evidence they will just blame my PC/XP/(dsl)modem etc

The only thing I can think of would be some sort of file restriction by your ISP/Website provider. Is your website some sort of free one, or given to you by your ISP? I've never heard of problems like this before, and you said that you've had problems in the past with large files.

You can always try the default answer - connect your PC via wire to your modem. Power off everything for 10-15 seconds, power everything back up, and try again.

Well its kind of free, its webspace included with my connection pack by the reliable company NTL.

I have moved to wire connection same problem, only uploads 1% ur upto 20% if I'm lucky then blam. And it wont resume..........

Old problem was large files would not upload if I had other programs running that used a high part of my bandwidth, IE emule / torrents. stopping those apps alowed me to upload no problem.

One issue was with ebay(or yahoo), if you tried to upload an image (50k-200k) for an auction it would get corrupt, but I think NTL and ebay worked that one out, and I bet it was NTL who had to change things.
