    A little O/T Need a wireless router

Hey guys, I am lookin for a wireless router for my dads house. I am lookin for maximum speed and signal strength. I do want to be able maintain the connection outside the house as well anywhere on the property. The thing is the house is pretty damn big, about 4,000 sq/ft and the property is large too. I will be doing a lot of stuff with this router including using a slingbox through it playing xbox through it, and I am setting up my dads NT server so he can have VPN access.

    Thanks
    Josh

lol...I have Linksys and Buffalo routers that are 54Mbps and have a decent range (all the way ou tto the garage several hundred feet away from my apartment). My brother has a router that does some kind of dual 54Mpbs for a total speed of 108Mpbs on wireless connection...

dude just buy any router. im still using the 802.11b routers that came out a long time ago and its still working perfectly for me. signal isnt always great but not bad for a 3 level home. router upstairs and my computer in the basement. if you have range issues buy longer higher db antennas. dont get mad cuz the guys on here arent jumping for joy to help you find a router lol
