    Cingular & Bluetooth & Internet - confused!

Ok, so I just got the new Sony W600i with Cingular, had the Moto V600 before and was sick of dropping calls... so I have a Belkin BT adapter plugged into my desktop, I have previously setup the units to get files on and off the phone (just as I did for my V600)... so I've got the itch to get online in the car so I started doing a bit of reading/research... I ran across that Cingular Connection manager software and went through the install and it wanted me to already have the phone paired with the computer before it will recognize it... so I close the cingular software after having gotten an error and noticed that the small networking icon was down by the clock.. I hover my mouse over and it says "Bluetooth Network Connection, Speed: 1.0Mbps, Status: Connected"... okay, so then I notice some network traffic... I reach behind my machine and unplug the network cable and I am surfing... I go straight to DSLreports.com and do the speed test and get about 20k/sec down and 9k/sec up... the page then reports my domain as mycingular.com (could have been .net)....

so what now?? all I have to do is pair the device and I have internet??

please someone answer how this is working and what I can do to find out that this is part of my normal service... I pay the $19.99/month for unlimited surfing on the phone... I have the phone checking my email every 1/2 hour and can surf all I like ON THE PHONE.... but if this is all it takes to get it up and running... why is there so much confusion??

check your plan, make sure you don't have to pay the 7 cent per kilobyte or reading this just cost you about a dollar. call 1-800-cingular and find out for sure what that 20 bucks gets ya....

I have seen multi-thousand dollar data charges in one month for people who didn't understand the data plans.

well, I have gotten my bill and I have ZERO extra charges... I have uploaded 5.3MB and downloaded 30.1MB... that would be about $300 in charges if it were per KB...

I got a new Belkin BT adapter and can't get it to connect the same way as my old unit... can't get that network connection...
