Wifi PCI card or usb adapter?!?

My current linksys router is on its way out and I am in the market for a new one. So since the carputer is being planned and installed why not install a wifi card so I can transfer files to the car in the driveway and surf the net and local hotspots. So my question is will I get better reception with a usb wifi reciever running 802.11g or pci card. Granted the usb is mounted on a non powered hub in the front of the car. And the carputer is in the trunk in the spare wheel well. Mounted under two 12" subs and a false floor. Will that affect a 2.4 Ghz signal? My only real concern is reception in the driveway. I am looking into getting one of these. The range is supposed to be great and the price isn't too bad. You can read the thread here for some opinions.

EDIT: You will have problems with the PCI adapter being in your trunk so in your situation I'd definitely go the USB route.
