    ppc-6700 and blue tooth teathering

Anyone here provide me a walk thru, on getting internet access thru bt with the ppc6700?

    this is what i've tried
    on the pc:
created a modem connection using the com port provided thru BT,(generic 33.6)

    turned off all flow control

created a dial up networking connection for my carrier(alltel, #777 no password/un required)

    on the PPC:
    kill activesync
run wmodem, set it to run on BT

    overview:
pc keeps erroring out when trying to connect, something about hardware errors.

    any ideas?

Hello, I have the ppc-6700 and use it to dial up by connecting to a d-link usb bluetooth donge in my car setup and a billionton pcmcia bluetooth card on my laptop i use everyday.

It seems like you're making it more complicated than necessary here's what I've always done...
    1. Pair the devices
    2. Discover services on the phone from the computer. Dial up networking should appear.
    3. Connect to the dial up networking service and a window should pop up prompting for phone number, uname & pw.

For my phone leaving username and password blank and using #777 works fine. I've never had to disable activesync or use the wireless modem app. I have installed the driver and used the wireless modem app over usb to see if it granted any increase in speed but I did not notice a difference. I don't have evdo service in my area. I'm sure if I would want to use the usb connection to maximize the speed if I did, but with 1xrtt bluetooth is fine.

I checked under keyprogram.. here's what I have..
    Prog0-7: EPST.exe followed by # and numbers
    Prog8: FieldTrial.exe
    Prog9: DMRouter.exe

#3328879 is not listed on my phone. Let me know if I'm looking in the wrong place or not understanding the question.

Note: I just updated the rom to include AKU2 so that could be why what you're asking for is not there. Perhaps this update would work for your device as well and add DUN support? The link can be found here ---> http://www.pdaphonehome.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=68618
