Subsidy unlock code

Does any1 know where the website it to get teh subsidy unlock codes? I just got off the phone with cingular and they said that there is a site out there that provides the codes when you put the IMEI number in.

Those sites usually charge $10-$15 for the subsidy code for your particular phone. I unlocked a Moto V600 a few years ago using one of these sites. I think I paid $12 for the code.

Or... If the phone is a Moto, you can search on motomodders (dot) net for tutorials on how to hack the firmware to get rid of the subsidy lock. I believe LostReception can give you more info on how to seem hack.

Most Nokias are dirt simple to unlock!

Well currently I have a Sony Ericsson W600i. But I had some complications with cingular to unlock the phone. I heard it is difficult to unlock the SE phones. SO i will prolly go and pick up a RAZR and get that unlocked.

NOOOOOOOO The only advantage that the RAZR has over the W600i is its size the W600i is alot better of a phone. When moto manufactured the RAZR they knew that it would be a great seller because of its size and they kinda skimped on quality. As far as ulocking the W600i im sure there are web pages out there to unlock it just dont try to many times or you will screw the phone up.

BTW I used to work at a cingular store and the RAZR isn't all that its cracked up to be.
