Question what is a 3G phone

I am looking into getting a 3g Blackberry phone for the sprint network. Can anyone define 3g and tell me if the Blackberry phones are any good?

Blackbery phones are only really any use if you have a server to relay email to you. Its life is limited now that exchange supports push mail and most new phones with 3G have normal email now. Unless you need the blackbery feature which I doubt since you dont know what it is I would go for another 3G phone which will have far more features.

Also, get as fa away from Sprint as you can....

I can't believe I'm saying this, but if you must go with a CDMA based service, go with Verizon...

    If not, go with Cingular!!

    Peace,

Rafster doesn't know what he is talking about, go with sprint. Sprint kicks ***, the customer support reps will bend over backwards to make you happy.

HAHA, yeah... more like they'll bend you forwards and hump the hell out of you...

There's a reason why Sprint was always the 5th best in customer satisfaction. Nextel was 4th....

2 of the worst major companies have joined together to make 1 truly horrible company to deal with.

I was a multi-carrier rep for about 3 years, a lot of my customers would come back and ask me to talk to CS about problems they were having because calling them was no good, and going to the store would get them no where also.

One thing I learned with dealing with Sprint and Nextel CS. You have to be VERY forcefull, and try to get as high up as you can b/c 1st and 2nd tier CS is bull****.

    Peace,

    Rafster
