tracking cell phones(location?)

anyone have an app that tracks cell phones, if they have the location tracking thingy turned on?

One thing that can be used is triangulation. Three towers measure the time delay between the recieved signals, and from there figure out your location. At the present time I don't know of any publically available software to do this, but service providers can do it. They won't do it though unless they have to.

Some internet sites will do it, but charge a but load.

Keep in mind that the phone must be on and recieving a relatively good signal for this too work.

Sprint has a tracking solution that you can use on your own phone. I know there is software out there for several other providers (created by other companies). I'm sure a quick look on Google would give you plenty of examples.
Who is your cell provider and which phone do you have?

Once Kids find out about this. they will just leave their phone at home. lol or at the friends house.
