connect pc/phone via bluetooth. SE Z520a

I hope someone here can help me with this problem.

after messing around with terrible widcomm drivers and patches for a long time, i finally got my bluetooth usb adapter to work in windows, at least i think i did. the widcomm icon in the system tray is blue and white. when i search for available bluetooth devices i can see my phone. but when i try to pair my pc and my phone, i get asked for a passkey. i've read that the default passkey for all SE's is 0000. i've tried that passkey, as well as several others (1234, last four digits of phone number, etc) and all i get are timeout errors.

i've also tried to connect to my pc from my phone. the phone finds the pc, and asks me for a passkey. i never found a place to set a passkey on my pc, so i get errors doing it that way as well.

    any ideas?

    widcomm drivers 5.0.1.801
    sony ericsson z520a
    windows xp sp2

Actually, you decide what paskey to use.

For example, when you type any passkey into windows, it sends the same passkey to the phone and you just have to re-enter it on the phone and then it should connect.

And make sure you make your computer a "trusted device" of your phone (might be the other way around, I forget) if possible so you don't have to keep re-doing the setup.
