    7.5 dbi, rp-sma connector, and a magnetic stand. its got everything i need. will this hold up u think?

    I don't know about these antennas, I got a similar one for my main access point because I couldn't get reception in the garage with the normal antenna. But, even with this antenna I can't get reception in the garage.. so....

    that look any better? i know about the hyperlinktech store or whatever its called, but thats just so darn expensive.

    if i were to get this, and use it with my engenius wifi adapter, what kind of range would i get? anyone?

    That's very similar to the 7dbi antenna I have, but that's a smaller package.

    You have to purchase a seperate mount. I have the magnetic mount, and it works well for me. In all likelihood, I'm going to use a surface-mount for the antenna, though. It looks cleaner.

    I can't tell you range with the combination you propose. I can tell you that my combination gets me a range of about a half mile from stronger access points.

    Understand that WiFi is not a viable solution for internet access while you're driving down the road.
    It's great when you're parked in a lot or at home, sure. If you're lucky enough to live in a metro area where there is free public WiFi, that may be a viable solution, but most of us do not.

    ok, so i found this now, it looks like a good deal, and its from hyperlinktech. anybody have any reason i shouldnt buy this one? it just seems like too good of a deal
