    Idea - Free internet

Hi, I have been wanting some sort of internet connection for my carpc, but I can't afford EVDO. I have tried using the GPRS from t-mobile, but frankly it sucks. I was wondering if anyone else had this idea. I have t-mobile with my favs, which lets me dial any 5 numbers unlimited throughout the month. Couldn't I use my cell phone as a modem and add a dial up number into my favs? That way, I would never have to use any minutes and still get free internet. Has anyone tried this?

I never picked this up (as I have EVDO) but maybe it's worth a shot.

It's not going to be any faster (and probably slower) than using GPRS, plus in some cases it may not even be possible to use a normal internet dialup number over a cell phone (I haven't tried but I want to say that when I was looking at options a while ago it seemed like there were some problems/issues when trying to do that).
