Thread: 2000 chevy truck Install

Most newer vehicles you can not aim for a headlight with laser as laser requires a direct reflection from a flat surface, most headlight on newer vehicles are not flat or if they are flat they have an angled back this prevents the laser from being effective. They are built like this for that reason it just happens to be that way. So you are still better off getting as close to the most perpendicular (to the road) parts of the vehicle (i.e. the plate and the leading edge of most bumpers.

Made a new choice this morning. Buying a VIA EPIA Mini board. The laptop got the boot just wasen't doing what i wanted to do with it. More to follow

AH yea just got one on EBay for 105.00 bucks. Now i just need to fine a VoomPC case for a good deal.

Thanks. This is the 3rd and last time for this truck. It just seems to get crazyier ever time my buddy and I do something to it. This time thou i think is going to be the best due to the time taken to get it all right and adding the computer is something that I've wanted to do for a long time. Plus with some help from my buddies friends in the car audio industry we are getting a few things at some killer pricing and or free so its all good. We have access to a car audio shop here in denver and all of the tools that we need to crank out a pretty nice project. More to follow and more pics i promise.

If we could ever get out of all the other car we keep commiting to helping out on, we might actually get this thing going and done before we get burried in snow.

and If I don't hurry up and get going on it, I won't know where to put all the gear he keeps coming up with to install in it. I would say in about 2 to 3 weeks we should be rolling on it again. We have done an almost complete audio gear change by changing amps and speakers again. he changed up the computer system and added more thing to the already long list.

Now we just need to get this Budweiser car done and a Rig that is creeping up on its completion date and then it is on for the truck.

OK Finished up the Dodge budweiser car with groundpounder and a few othere people here in denver. Thank god now its my turn . Everyone is taken a break for a week or so and its back on the truck. So once we start up again pix will follow. I need tunes in the truck or i will make the denver news for road rage. J/K Got the epic mII motherboard now all ready to go so i should be good.

I'm down towards DTC, so i'd like to see the finished product for sure... we're supposed to have another Denver meet this summer... not sure the when/where...
