I got my truck todayIt needs a fare amount of work but I have plenty of time and some money... I'm really happy, new work to do

Good news today, I received the check from the insurance company after the totaling of my 85 Monte Carlo. This means that I only have to wait for everything to clear and then the truck is mine, so I figured Id start a new thread for what I have deemed as my PlowPuter. This truck is an 1987 GMC Jimmy with a plow, a 3in lift, and a set of hug tires (not sure how big they are, I'll measure them when I get the truck) and now as with my other CarPC install here is the link to both save bandwidth and make it more readable... http://hacks.andrewstrausberg.com/CarPCv2/

I did a lot of work on the computer today I almost have everything done, mounted, and installed... Ill have pictures sometime tomorrow. All I need to do now is wire the PSU power wires, find a place to mount the amps, mount the amps, and then just the basic finalization of everything. I should be ready for the meet on the 28th as long as I can get my car registered and all that MA BS... Anyways wish me luck![]()
