    Idea for my installation

I'm starting to think how I will install my setup. I'm going to a motorized lcd from a dvd drive unit (as I posted here http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/fabr...dvd-drive.html)

Also I found (down of my nose) the solution for the carpc case... an old desktop cover which fits perffectly into a 2din size (take a look at these photos below).

Certainly I'll need to cut and make some holes but I don't need to fold or weld anymore.

Sure! is an epia mini-itx size and it's smaller than a 2din unit in wide.
I think will only need to replace my tv/fm card which is taller than a 2din height

i intended to ask for a hdtv card but unfortunately i couldn't find one which complies with our system here (BR). maybe in Japan we can find one

my encore tv card cannot be used with such "riser" adapter (L) cause it will touch on memory and others components. Unless I find a flexible one.

There was a discussion about it in CarPC-Brasil forum at Google Groups. Somebody posted this link:

Thank you! But my mobo has a standard pci slot while most hdtv cards are pci-express :-((

however, i found an usb one here in Brazil http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB-65613928-_JM but i'm not sure it will support our isdb-t system though.

    what do you think?

The one I posted was not PCI. There are others:

Check out the CarPC-Brasil forum in Google Groups, regarding this topic.
