and im not suggesting any specific way of aquiring the os just recommending an os

Hibernation resume usually relies on how much RAM you have, and processor speed. What about cold boots? It really doesn't much matter much to me, since I just do "Standby" anyway. I drive enough that I don't drain my battery. Cold boots are a factor at times when I reboot, etc... But mostly I'm concerned with not running a billion unnecessary processes, or hogging ram.

No, the case is still the same as last pictured. I need to get on that, but I've got higher priority stuff right now.

I've got the sound wired directly to the vehicle now, which was a major priority. Next comes moving the a/c controls. I've soldered in about half the wire extensions of the 30-odd wires so I can move it.

It's getting cold out here now, and that's just slowing my progress even more.

Not to mention, my wife's Civic still needs her install started on. I've decided to just complete the Tahoe install before starting on hers.

So much to do, so little time...

Uraijit. We both kinda have the same truck. I have the truck version and you have the SUV but the dash and the center console are the same. Check out my Page:

I molded my screen into the dash. The center console will house all of my power and usb stuff. My controls will move down and I'll mold my apline controller right below them.

he never said you should use another xp without another license.
he was just suggesting a modded xp. You could always buy an xp license for each modded xp copy you use.

Have you ever done a Tiny XP install? If so, how would you say it compares, in terms of size, stability, usability, resource usage, etc?
