The only reason I didn't go with a doulbe din is the next major mod for the car. I'm still go back and forward on giving the car a widebody. I know for sure that I will add twin turbos to the car. That last din will house my gauges for this.
Thanks for the input. I finally got the touch to work on the screen. I will update pics soon.

update on the switches
They’re all momentarily switches. In other words they don’t work with the current model that I’m shooting for. For anyone out there, does Porsche/ VW make a true rocker switch that will fit in the OEM slot? I can’t find anything.

adding a outside mic
I wanted to place a mic outside for when I do my runs. The only problem I was facing was wind nosie. I found a place, its located next to the hood latch. I found a rubber plug next to the center radiator (yes I meant “Center,” the Boxster s have 3 radiators) that I ran the wire through.
I installed the docking station. I had a problem with the touchscreen and the docking station. But after a while, I finally got it to work with a little help from Pancit175.
I also installed a Ground loop isolator to get rid of the noise.
