there's alot of great useful info here.
I really liked the idea of consolidating the power distribution to one board. I had that in mind last week: to put a board similar to yours where my cup holder is, in the center of the dashboard, and making it slide out like the cup holder does. But of course, the thought came to mind after I cleaned up my wiring a second time. Go figure.
BRB: I'm still browsing your build...
LOL read my worklog carefully because I changed my setup alot..... If you are talking about the panel under the seat, I had no choice, my setup is so large that if I dont do that, I will loose track of all the wires. Plus if a fuse blows out the chances of a uncontrollable fire are less, then if stuck next to alot of componenets.

That second console is turning out great, really lookin good! I don't know the reasoning behind having to create a work log instead of posting our builds in the show off your ride section from the get go.
The reality is, our builds always undergo some sort of improvement, and are never really considered finished. Therefore, nothing will make it into the "show-off" category of this site. I put mine there because I thought I was done. lol!
Great minds think alike, "the ultimate multi-media experience"- work is still in progress after two years.
Well I think becaue it would get confusing. It would all be mixed up with finished rides and none finished rides. That is true, they do change, I do know that once mine is done I am not doing anything to it, except maybe software. Other then that, I think I have crammed everything into this car and I dont see anything more I can add. Once the Car PC is done and the interior is all toghether, Im starting a new thread. I dont want it all mixed with this worklog.

Bad News. Got my MoBo put everything together, but then when I hit power there was nothing. Still blackness. Im starting to think that it wasnt the MoBo at all, but rather the processor.......

Let me know what ya come up with. I have ordered a new CPU and new ram and still nothing past the black screen. I'm running out of ideas on this.

Are you also using the KINO-690S1? This is odd, because the RAM worked before, the MoBo is new, so it cant be that. I have to assume its the Processor. What power supply do you have? I have a OPUS 320, maybe its acting up....

I using the KINO-690S just not in the Durango yet. I have a 300 watt PC power supply running on a bench system. I ordered a new processor, that did not work, or I should say did not help, and then I ordered new ram, still nothing. The fans spin, but no screen/bios. Might just go with a new motherboard even though this one was expensive
