So over the Christmas holiday I worked a bit more on the center console. It has now officially become difficult, lol. I have a bad feeling it is going to be a b!+ch to upholster. Why do I make things so complicated. Anyways here are my pix!
On a side note, I am still waiting on a bunch of stuff. The USB touch controller has gone missing in the mail system and the seller is trying to locate it, I will never by foreign again. For $10.00 dollars more i could have bought locally and had it already. I also bought a monostable switch for my Digital Quad Processor. I had no choice but to get that from the UK, could not find one local and was to inexperience and impatient to build my own. That has also gotten lost. The new processor is on its way after finding out that to much thermal paste will kill a AMD processor, especially if it uses a conductive metal like silver. The new MoBo was stripped of all its heat sinks and I am putting better thermal paste, they used thermal tape which is the worst. If my MoBo honestly does not come alive, I have decided to cut my loses with AMD and go INTEL, I am hoping it does not come to that since i really prefer AMD. The processor should be here in a few days unless it gets slowed in the mail.
I have decided to delete my side mirrors 100%. I am going to ask nexson if he can cut my mirrors off the part that holds it to the car and redo them to hold small cameras instead. Similar to this
Which came from this thread. http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/gene...ng-camera.html
At first I was worried about the law, and issues when turning, but I said fuk the law, lol, i want my car to look a certain way. The way the DQP works is it shows the rear as the main screen, then 2 PIP windows, one in the left corner and the other in the right corner. They are see able but still alittle to small for my liking. So Vincenttor pointed me to a site that has a box that has 3 RCA camera connections. It also has 2 wires that connect to your blinkers and one RCA to the screen. So what i am going to do is connect the DQP as the rear cam input on the device so I can see the 3 views. Then the left and right cameras get a splitter. Then a connection from each cam goes to the DQP and the other connection from each cam goes to the box. Basically when I turn left and use my blinker the box will switch to the left cam and enlarge it on the screen. Same thing with the right side. Once i turn off the blinkers it will default to the rear view which is 3 way view.
