Yea the pricing isn't set in stone for the speakers and amps. I am going by what Alpine lists them at. I like the PDX series amps because they don't generate as much heat as regular amps. Also they are alot smaller too. I am hoping to have the amps near the computers so I can make a single cover to cover the amps and computers to make it look like one piece. I am starting to reconsider a 500 RMS amp for the sub because I dont want the sub to take up alot of space, since the amps will take up boot space. I want a 12', maybe if I have a very tiny sub box made.

LMFAO. I tried the cheap route, but after I heard Kimota's system and was blown away, I had to upgrade. I also wanted to go with a high up amp to eliminate EMI. I am in the process of redoing the audio, I am taking out the interior, running the audio straight back and the wire that goes to the speakers will be run through the top ceiling to avoid any electrical cables. I basically want to do away with Ground Loop Isolators. The only GLI i want to use is for the headphone amp, which is one of my older motorcycle amps. Thats for the headphone jacks I am adding. I know that as more headphone are plugged in, the audio will start to get lower for every pair plugged in. With the motorcycle amp, this issue should be killed. Funds for this project are almost nonexistent, but I will get as much small fabing done since it isn't pricey to do. Once I get money rolling in again, I will start on purchasing and major mods which will be done by Nexson.

LOL, my bad, but it really unlocks the power of the PC's sound. I mean you dont have to go over board like me, but I needed something small. I dont have a trunk and I have 4 dogs. My biggest dog is so spoiled so if to much stuff is in the way he cries the whole way home. With the PDX series I can stack them up and put them as far to the side. Now with the sub, what I will do is make a quick disconnect system so I can take the sub out when they are in the car. I use to have two 12s' OMG he would just cry and cry and cry. I decided to give it to my brother since I couldnt lift that $h!+ in and out my car all the time. My brother promptly blew those speakers, lol, they were kinda cheap though anyways.

    The mega case!

Well I finally decided to start making the case for the six computers. I went to Home Depot and bought tough metal strips. I then used a dremel and cut groves in the strips. Then used strews with nuts to fasten them to the grooves. I had an issue were I could still move the cases because they are in a triangle shape. I decided to simply cut a plastic piece out and fasten it to the holes that originaly heald the cases up right. Only thing I have to do is cut the access metal from the top, add a special mount for the bottom to bolt to the car. I may also add 5 small fans to the plastic piece which will draw any hot air out. Pix below.

Instead of cutting the metal sticking out of the top, I bent it to the sides so I can use it as a fastener for two brackets to connect the top to the car frame. So it will be supported on the top and bottom.

Got the case all together and installed it. It took me a while to figure out how to secure it without making new holes in the car. I decided to use one bolt for one of the windows and another that connected to a seatbelt bolt. Even though I haven't tied down the legs it is in solid. I am not going to tie the legs yet because I want to wait for the amps, if they fit under the case then that will support it. I couldn't push the case back as pictured before, I guess its bigger put together, lol. I left a gap behind the case, which will be beneficial. I can stack all the KVMs in the gap and not take up space in the cubby. Only thing that will are the PSUs, Ehternet switch, VGA splitters, DVI-D to VGA converter, small amp for headphones and wiring. That should give me alot of room, if the KVMs go in the cubby they take up most of the space. Also if the amps can not fit under the PC case, then I am making a special shelf to hold the PSUs there. So for now I am done with this project, it all has to do with the size of the amps at this point.
