Little project in-between rebuilding my Valiant & seeing as I'm still waiting on some parts I thought I'd throw up a build post. Not too many other New Zealanders on here. Parts are difficult to obtain. Have bought a few pieces from mp3.com & Ebay mostly

I fired it up for the first time last night but having issues with the HDD as I had a SATA version which seemed to be creating a conflict with the SATA/IDE converter (board is IDE) so have ordered an IDE HDD which should be here early next week then final assembly can happen. Still need to organise an Amp for sound & another screen for my daughter in the back seat.
Still to decide whether to mount the Slim DVD in the dash under the heater controller or keep it separate & removable.
Hope to get the GPS sorted with something local as there isn't much available for NZ & maybe in the future hook up to the diagnostics plug to see what the SR20DET is doing, just for kicks
Finally got it installed & running yesterday afternoon. Must have done something right cause the PC, Screen & Amp all fired up first pop
Still some fine-tuning to do. Not happy with Winamp (I'm running Roadrunner), never used it before & it just doesn't seem familiar like Media Player. Apart from that I still need to fit & wire my sub (build a box for it), wire up the rear speakers, fit the GPS & figure out a radio option.
