Not for the front. I think this is a better way for what I have so far. This way I wont have to mangle my radio bezel and I can put that 5.6 to use inside the message center. Ill put some 7 inches in the back passenger area tho.

(By pocket, I mean the message center)

I'd say that would be what I'd do. Use the 5.6 for something else... A lot easier to use while driving.

    Made up my mind

I decided on keeping the 5.6 in the message center. Saves me money and thats a better solution considering how high gas is.

I couldnt wait for my dremel cuz im a inpatient kinda guy. I cut a the hole for my LCD with a pair of wire cutters. Bought sum sand paper and im gonna clean up the cut better. Came out pretty good if you ask me.

Alright so I still need to sand the jagged lines but I thought i'd how good this would look. This looks pretty good to me. Im gonna go buy some bondo with fiberglass to blend the whole thing together. This is fun.

    WAAAIIITTT.....

If the dash piece is made of ABS plastic, you can just use ABS cement. It's way less expensive, and it will bond chemically rather than mechanically.

This is the stuff I use:

    http://www.oatey.com/Channel/Shared/...ck_Cement.html

it's available at the home depot, in the aisle with the black plastic pipe.

Check out my worklog in my sig, you can see what I'm using and how it works.

You will want to find out what type of plastic the dash piece is made out of though. If it says PC or PC+ABS or ABS then the stuff above will work. If it says PP or something other than the first three, then it won't bond, and epoxy and fiberglass bondo would be okay, but not ideal.
