OK, I've got the car to get my hands dirty.
It's a pretty good conditioned Volvo 960 with a slabbing 2.9 l. 6cyl. engine.
From the hardware side I've got:
Sony Vaio VGN-A117S 17" notebook with almost dead battery
Zalman HD160XT Plus computer case to tear apart for touch screen/buttons/remote/etc.
Navilock USB GPS unit
Apple Wireless Keyboard
quite a lot of different remotes, misc. USB devices

nice so far man
How did you make the volume knob? or is that pulled out from the Zalman along with the Card Reader?
Thanks,
Yeap, it was in the Zalman.
Actualy it's a Soundgraph OEM Type C made for Zalman.
Volume knob looks great. Got the pictures of it with the coffer of the cardreader?
The cover of the card reader isn't fabricated yet, cause it has to be done out of some piece of plastic that would have OEM look /the best is out of volvo/. Don't have that piece yet.. =[
Of course I could cut out a piece of alluminium from case, but it's so thick and died in black, so it's very difficult to make a perfect cut, and it looks not so OEM =]
