I really need to take a weekend and get down there and check out freeflashstuff's install. It looks scary.
Why is there duct tape?
YES, you dooooooooo. I wish I could, I could get that PC working perfect.
LOL, I noticed that too, but lol, duck tape fixes everythinggggggggggg, lol. On my install I use masking tape, but only to hold the wires in my head liner. When it heats up it gets super sticky and holds the wires up. Thankfully most are run through the metal framing.

My bad on the specs, its this board:

The 230, apparently.
The Opus is mounted on the top of the case. I think I sorted out the overheating issue, don't park in the sun!But I need to figure something else out to be a permanent solution.
The duct tape helps hold the top snug to the case.
You know what's scary? Most of the wires on the driver's side(factory and aftermarket) run either on top of or below a tube that connects to the gas tank. I have a pic somewhere.... I'll post it in a sec.
HiJack, pix of the panel:
completely closed up(pc is below cubby-hole):
Different angle:
Right now, the Opus is steady, but earlier it was blinking 5 times, but I think running the AUX fan at MAX speed cooled it down.
I guess I need to download Sketchup so I can view your designs and maybe try some of my own for future projects. Saul has a TruckPC install coming up... *devilish grin* Time to put my skills to the test. Hopefully it won't take 3 tries this time...![]()

I added three fans. Hopefully that will solve some of the ventilation issues. I'll reinstall it tomorrow and see how it goes.

I didn't get it reinstalled today, my side panel is still ripped up. But, slightly off topic, I don't think my ISP likes Brando's web page. I can access it through a proxy, but otherwise, I get a cannot find server error... Weird...

Just leave the panel off, Mine is off, lol... infact my whole interior is just about out. I did start to design your case. I love Sketchup, I am glad rdholtz told me about it. Your case is coming out good for a beginner. When you see it, it may look weird, but its made to optimize airflow. It will also fit your car perfect. I just need more pix of the area without the panel and a picture of the panel.
PS: never mind, I see the pix. Yea designing something will be easy.
